About Me
I'm a proud Zimbabwean, where I was born and raised for the first 10 years of my life. My family moved to South Africa in 2006 where I completed high school and university, and began my corporate career. In 2022, I made a life-changing move to Tulsa, Oklahoma, to pursue my Ph.D. in cybersecurity. Tulsa has since become home, and after graduating in December 2025, I was set on continuing the journey here. I now work as a Solutions Engineer focused on designing and delivering data solutions.
My work centers on building data strategies and architectures that are both secure and scalable, then translating them into analytics experiences that decision-makers can trust. I've spent years in security research, product management, and product owner roles, where I've helped launch +15 mobile and web applications.
I'm motivated by family, fueled by good coffee (a traditional, well-crafted flat white is my weakness), and genuinely passionate about efficiency and research. I love taking messy, ambiguous problems and turning them into structured roadmaps that teams can execute on. I'm at my best when I'm helping others make sense of information.
What I Do
I'm passionate about most things that I do, from personal projects to professional endeavors. I love tackling the complexity of problems, figuring out how things work, understanding complete processes, and researching solutions.
I'm currently a Solutions Engineer specializing in designing effective data strategies. I'm focused on the complete data lifecycle, from ingestion to consumption, where I help design solutions tailored to architecture, transformation, and business intelligence analytics. In this role, I help organizations turn the complexities of data into clear, actionable insight, with a focus on modern data warehousing, ETL processes, and modern BI platforms.
With a background that spans cybersecurity research, fintech product management, and teaching university-level courses on blockchain and smart contracts, I bridge deep technical expertise with real-world business impact.
My solutions may not always be simple, but I make sure that everyone in the room can understand them. With executable roadmaps, clear outputs, and well-defined value propositions, my solutions are designed to provide high-impact insight at critical decision points.
Academics
My passion for research is reflected in my academic qualifications. I hold a PhD in Cybersecurity, a Master of Commerce in Information Systems, and a Bachelor of Business Science in Information Systems. I have published research in leading academic journals and presented at industry recognized conferences. I serve as a trusted reviewer for 20+ journals and conferences, and also hold an adjunct professor position, teaching fintech, blockchain, and smart contract courses.

Faith
I'm a follower of Jesus Christ and take the Bible at its word. This journey wouldn't have been possible without the grace, mercy, and goodness of God, and the future won't be either.
Family
My wife and I have been married for four years and together for over a decade. We had an unconventional 15 person wedding. She has embodied commitment to a greater cause every single day since we said 'I do'. We have one daughter, we love her.
Let's connect.
Today, based in Tulsa and working globally, I bring together my journey across Africa and the US, my love for learning, and my belief that not all systems have to feel complicated. If you're looking to turn problems into strategy, or you simply feel stuck with where you are now but know where you want to go, I'm your partner who can help you move the right pieces at the right time. Happy to have you here, let's connect.
